2:00 – 5:30 p.m.

Performers of any ability—from amateur to professional—hailing from the Longfellow neighborhood (broadly defined) are invited to participate in this celebration of music in our community. Musicians will play on the front porches or yards of homes on the following streets: Clark, Oakland, Grant, Maple, Rundell, Seymour, and Center. Spectators are welcome to stroll the neighborhood to listen and enjoy the music, or join in an Open Jam session or community sing.

We encourage all who are able to walk or bike around the neighborhood during the festival. For visitors driving to the Longfellow neighborhood for the festival, please park on the perimeter of the festival area to reduce vehicle traffic during the festival.

To volunteer to perform, share a porch, or ask a question, please email: info@frontporchmusicfestival.com.

  1. I would like to volunteer my front porch and my musician friend, Pete Rolnick (of Sweet Cacophony) to play there. I live @ 827 Rundell St. and am in the Longfellow Neighborhood. It’s a tiny house/porch with a big backyard, and more musicians may join as well. Can we be part of the festival? Thanks, ellen

  2. Edith Hogarty would like to volunteer her front porch for the festival again this year. Her address is 513 Grant St. Please contact her by phone 319.337.5395
